TWENTY.SEVEN years...

These girls and I have been friends for TWENTY.SEVEN years! Yes, I know we dont even look like we are TWENTY.SEVEN years old, but we in fact met when I moved to small town, Brady, TX in the second grade. We have been through so much together... We have seen parents die, parents divorce, we have been in each others weddings, we have had ten kids, we have cried together and laughed ALOT! Every time we are together it is like we have not missed A.SINGLE.DAY.TOGETHER!

This last weekend I spent the ENTIRE weekend with my childhood girlfriends ALONE! We didnt get dressed (well, except for swimsuits) and wore little makeup! It was AWESOME! We visited the lakehouse that we LOVED and visited during high school and that we have visited a few times in between! (We are so thankful that Farrah's family still has the lake house!) We rode in the boat when we wanted to! Which included a night stroll :)

Farrah had to FREAK me out and drive with NO. HANDS!
We relaxed on the dock...

We drove the boat to the bridge that many of our friends jumped off of during high school... if our parents are reading this... please ignore!

I did NOT JUMP! I was often called the Chicken S**T! I was a chicken and I admit. But I did not walk around with bruises on my rear because of it.
We floated in the lake without a care in the world! I sacrificed and took the kid float :)
We acted like kids and rode the jet ski! We relaxed in the hot tub and I did not get a single shot of us in the hot tub :( And we LOVED every minute in being in this home away from home! Thanks for having us, Farrah!
Love you girls since second grade! Has it really been TWENTY-SEVEN years?

Are We Crazy?...

Last Wednesday, some Mommy friends and I took our kids to Six Flags for the day! We began our day with a visit with Wonder Woman and Robin... Then the older girls in the group stopped for a photo. It is hard to believe Taylor and Katie will be entering Junior High and that Abbey and Sydney are just a year away.
We got all sunscreened up! Miss Em may have used a little too much :)
These two best friends had a GREAT day together as always!
And these two buddies were pretty cute together, too!
We rode LOTS of rides and only waited in a few VERY.SHORT.LINES. Probably because we were the only crazy people who wanted to be a Six Flags on a 105 degree day!
Even Campbell the smallest of the children was a happy trooper all TEN hours at the park!
We rode LOTS of rides even some in Looney Tunes Land!
We rode rollers coasters BIG and small!
We were WET then dry... We started our day of clean and ended it completely DIRTY!
Are we completely CRAZY! Well, I think Bridgette, Betsy, Shelly and I are because if 10 hours of Six Flags with 17 children wasnt enough, we decided to go eat at Chili's at 9:00 at night with our 11 children!
But we were hungry and wanted something GOOD to eat and hey, WHY NOT!
So, we finished off our day right! And it was a GREAT DAY!

And I dont think we are crazy at all! And our girls thought we were AWESOME!

Family Time...

This weekend was our annual Caudle Family Reunion in Abilene! It was time for COUSIN OVERLOAD! Here is a picture of my girls with their first cousins, Whitney and Garrett! You can definately tell they are all related... This is my mom's side of the family... Saturday morning before it got 105 degrees we took a quick trip to the zoo. Here are the kiddos-minus the seven who had not made it to town yet!
Sweet Lainey and Whitney never left each other's side all weekend. They are just a few weeks apart and LOVE being together!
My adorable nephew Garrett finally posed for a picture for me! He only did it because their were monkeys in the background.
We really like the Abilene zoo. We were just their a few weeks ago with Will's high school friends and their families, but the girls didnt care.
Here are sweet cousins feeding the hungry fish and ducks!
Baby Trent is the smallest of the bunch and he was a real trooper all weekend...
Later in the afternoon we had craft time with Aunt Delpha at the hotel. Delpha had the kids make horns which could be heard all over the hotel!
Yep, these two are still side by side and ready to craft!
Miss Em was pretty excited about making some noise.
So was Garrett and Andrew!
Later that night we had the annual talent show. My girls did their dance they learned at cheer camp and another dance they made up on their own!
Then it was PICTURE TIME!!!! Here are all the kids!
Then we divide them up by age and take individual pictures to see their sizes! You see, all my cousins and I were pregnant and had kids at the same time (for the most part!) This is me and my brother (in red shirt) and my cousins...
Here are our kids born in 1999... Poor Miss Abbey is so short. Boston and Jill are taller than ME!
The kids born in 2001! (Kameron, Branson, Whitney, Thomas, Lainey, and Kaitlyn)
Kiddos born in 2002! (Beau, Grant, Andrew, and Emiley)
Then Garrett and Brooklyn... They are 5 and 4!
Then the two teenagers (Taylor and Dacayla) and the two babies (Trent and Drew)
Then the cousins with their spouses...
Not sure how I missed a picture of the moms and dads, aunts and uncles! OOPS!
On the way home on Sunday we had to stop of a Cajun Cone! They are a must in Abilene! They do not disappoint, especially when it is 105 degrees and you have played super hard!

We had a GREAT time and cant wait for next year!
