The girls and I are going to remember Baby Chase, we are going to step outside of our "box" and honor some people that we always see doing good and people that we want to encourage in our community. We have had fun planning for our CHASE DAY this week! Here is a hint as to what we are going to surprise our friends with! 
The girls have had fun with it all week. We cant wait for tomorrow. Thank you, Chelsea for reminding us to put others first.

Today my daughter and her sweet group of friends is learning it in a hard way.
Once again, our masterbedroom has changed since last year when we had the tour. I LOVE change! I had to show-off my new bedding on "Friday Favorites" once, but here it is again! I am still loving it! I really LOVE it because it was such a bargain at Marshall's. I love all the colors!
This is just a shot hubby's side of the bed. The horse pictures once hung in his grandfather's house. Nearly everything in our home has family meaning... makes it all a bit special!
Just a closer shot of the bedding. I would LOVE to paint a wall or two in our Master bedroom... Any suggestions?
Now for Friday's Favorites! YAY its FALL! I pulled out a few of my fall decorations this week while I was home with a sick Miss Em. I just LOVE this fall sign that hangs on my porch. I greets all my guests. Cant wait for it to greet my party guests this weekend!

It all began with a little fun in the sprinkler. We tried for a shot of all of the girls up in the air. This is best we got. Pretty close. They are some super cute little girls :)
Then we had hamburgers with the fixin's (true Texas style). After supper we built a fire for SMORES! Daddy was incharge of this item on the wish list.

And finally it was gift time! These moms are creative in the gift giving department. One gift was filled with confetti and one mom/girl gave Miss Em Silly String!
So out to the front yard they went to have a Silly String Fight!!! NICE!!! 
The girls thought about sleeping in the camper. They watched some TV in the camper and played some games in the camper until about midnight...
Oh yes, and we did have a Bulldog birthday cake at Emiley's request... homemade of course!
It was a night just like Emiley wanted! Perfect for our 8 year old!
Let me start by staying our weekend was suppose to be full of rest and relaxation. Sunday morning I woke late and to a flat tire! This happened the last time I was at the lake house so I know how to work the air compressor. Will and Luke were off to the triathlon. Betsy and I began to try to air up the tire. NOPE, not going to happen. Not only was it not going to happen, we blew a braker! Got the braker switched but the compressor was not gonna do it! So Betsy says we are going to change the tire. I have NEVER changed a tire! But in order to even THINK we are going to make it the two miles to the triathlon with six kids Iguess we are changing the tire. 
We got the jack out, the spare out and every started just fine... the problem came when we were trying to get the bolts loosened. We decided to stand on the wrench thingy while hanging onto the luggage rack! Good times!!!

We got the completely flat tire off and the spare on! 
In 23 minutes I might add... Betsy is a rock star tire changer and I am her side-kick!

After all that work, we had to do some more swimming in the lake. 
Of course that was the real plan all weekend. 
We did gets lots of swimming in on Saturday and Sunday! 
But Sunday's swimming was much more rewarding after all our hard work! 
Time has flown by way to fast. I know I say that EVERY.SINGLE.DAY, but with her it is so true. She was my third girl born in a VERY.SHORT.TIME. She is such a sweet, wonderful, EASY, gentle, kind child...
Miss Em keeps up laughing EVERY.SINGLE.DAY! 
Emiley Morgan knows who she is and she is not afraid to express herself and be a bit different! I love her blond, brown, red hair... her dark brown eyes, her bright smile and her loveable personality! 
I am so blessed to be able to call her MINE!

Well, Kelly over at Kelly's Korner is playing "Show Us Your Live" Again and of course I had to play along! This week is LIVING ROOMS. My living room has really changed since last time we had home tours. I finally got new living room funiture and I.LOVE.IT! I also got a new rug and it is great. It hink it all feels so cozy! 
This picture is one of my favortie things in my living room! I also love the cute sign hanging over it! 
This old green piece sits in the living room. I got it at a garage sale for $50 and it is so fun! My hubby hates it because it is so heavy but it takes up this long wall and it great as an entry piece. 
I also love this antique piece. I lightly painted it red and added a zebra lamp and it holds all my pewter dishes. Just a little something extra! 
Now for my FRIDAY FAVORITES! Tonight is Miss Em's slumber party on the eve of her birthday. I let her pick three friends and we headed to the grocery store to buy all the goodies for a cook-out, smores, cake, and the works! 
P.S. Miss Em asked for only a hula hoop for her birthday! Funny girl... guess we may be shaking our hips later in the evening! Right now they are jumping on the trampoline, swinging on the rope swing, and running through the sprinkler. The joys of an 8 year old!
