Happy "Hale"-O-Ween + Other Tidbits...

 Happy "Hale"-O-Ween or Halloween from the Hale's!  Its been a fun-filled last few days!  We had the band carnival this weekend and the girls walked with sodas, cheesecakes, candy and some fun prizes!  It was a good time with friends!  Miss Em entered the costume contest and walked away with 1st prize for her scuba diver outfit!  She was "stylin' " in her daddy's old wetsuit and  goggles!  Lainey Beth was CUTE, too in her carhop outfit but wouldn't enter any contest in her age division. :( 

 Besides the normal school, soccer, basketball, homework, etc going on around here... We have been planning on some pretty BIG events!  Abbey is gearing up for her UCA All-American performance on Thanksgiving Day! She was pretty excited when she got her uniform in the mail.  She was even MORE excited when she realized the routine she had to learn was to her favorite band, One Direction!!  Abbey Grace is pretty adorable!

 In other HUGE Hale family news, Will is off to Ironman Florida in Panama City Beach.  He will race on Saturday.  I fly out on Friday to meet him there.  Saturday he gets to show-off his year's worth of training!!  It's been a tough year for him but I'm sure it will pay off. 

We are still alive and kicking and ready for a little break from school... (Come on Thanksgiving!) 

Truly I cant believe it's November!  Happy Hump Day!

Tuesday Tidbits...

 Well, we are already back to Tuesday!  Wow, Life is flying by.  I was home today with Miss Em who had the upset tummy.  Lainey had a touch of it on Sunday. 

The weekend flew by with Abbey Grace's district cross country meet and district volleyball tourney.  Our "running girls" placed 2nd in district.  They came in behind the 1st place by 5 points.  They were AWESOME~  They came in 2nd to this same team early in the season by 11 points.  We have improved!  Our girls have such potential.  I am so proud!!! 

At the district volleyball tourney we lost in the first round.  Bummer!  We were tired from running earlier.  We played an awesome first match but lost it in the last two :(

Will is preparing to leave for Ironman Florida in a week!  Next week at this time he will be driving out to Panama City!  I really cant believe its here... He's been training for almost a year!  I will fly out next Friday.  WOW, 140.6 miles in one day! (swim, bike, run) 

 Abbey Grace thinks she is going to be Elle Woods from Legally Blonde for Halloween!  Oh My!  This is going to be FUN!  Lainey is a carhop and Miss Em is a scuba diver and will be wearing her daddy's old wetsuit :) 

 Saturday night we had a much needed mommy/daddy night out!  I am so thankful for our couple friends.  We ate dinner then had fun dancing!  It was a great night sponsored by Haile's!   What FUN! 

Happy Tuesday!  Hoping the upset tummy stays away from the rest of us...

Friday Fun...

I have some CRAZY, FUN workout friends.

We did some great workouts over the summer, but school started and life got busier. 

We still text each other almost everyday with crazy workout ideas and get together once or twice aweek...

Last week, Liz (strong girl on bottom) texted us a picture of SUPER.CRAZY.FIT girls doing something  sortof like this and wanted us to try it... so of course we did. 

No, we dont look near as cool, but we were all a bit surprised we even got CLOSE!

YES, There were some crashes before and we were breathing hard and our arms were shaking in the process!

Other crazy things we have tried  that I NEVER thought I would, handstand push-up, heck just push-ups, pull-ups, flipping tires, push press, burpees, supermans,... Well, you get the idea! 

It's FUN girls...

Let's Back Up to Thursday, Shall We?...

 Why Yes, I have taken another LONG blog break!  So let's just back up to last Thursday where we left off!  Miss Em had her big 4th grade play.  It was all about composers and we SUPER.DUPER.CUTE!  Emiley was Brahms and she did a fabulous job along with every other 4th grader and her talented music and art teachers!  It was about modern day students who visit a museum and the composers come to life...

 Lots of singing and dancing! 

We have also been experimenting with the sock bun! We watched a few videos from Pinterest on how to do it and then we cut our socks and got to it.  One day we ALL had a sock bun and left the house with the DOO!  Abbey was a little embarrassed...

 It is pretty easy and pretty cute!  Lainey had to make hers a little different by adding a twist, too! 

 We also made nutella and peanut butter cookies from Pinterest, too!  The girls loved them and so did the cross country team. 

 The little cheerleaders were invited to cheer before the football game Friday night.  Miss Em decided to show her stuff.  Lainey decided to "pass" this time!  Oh and I better mention that Emiley did her flip flop yesterday in gymnastics!!!!!!

 I love this picture!  Oh Abbey Grace had a rough time at the last cross country meet.  A few tears were shed as her team took off without her.  They came in 1st place AGAIN!!!  But it is so hard to watch standing on the side.  BUT TODAY the boot came off and she ran pain free, just pray it continues for the district meet Saturday!  GO TEAM!!!!

 I love these girls!  They have worked so hard.  Cant believe they are growing up so fast.  This weekend is district cross country and district volleyball tourney.  Go Lady Dogs.  So glad that boot is off! 

Well, maybe I will try and be more "regular!"
