Easter Twenty-Twelve...

We celebrated another Easter with our three little beauties and another special holiday where I realized they are growing up way too fast...

Abbey Grace found a dress that she liked and we bought 2 of them! One in these pretty blue and one in green. Hard to believe she will turn 13 this summer. Abbey has also decided she needed a purse, so we searched the world {malls} over and found this one she also loved. She carries her phone, tylenol and carmex! She is such a doll.
My Lainey girl found this sweet Easter outfit and KNEW she had to have it! Oh, this girl loves fashion. I sort of fell in love with it, too!
Miss Em, Oh the cuteness!!! She wanted a peach dress to make her hair look a bit red! She found this one and it was comfy, too. She is all about comfort. Dont really want her to turn double-digits. Where did my babies go??
Easter is a wonderful holiday to celebrate our risen Lord!! How wonderful to celebrate the eternal life we will have with our Lord because of the sacrifice he made for us. Even though the girls are growing up they still love hunting eggs left for them Saturday night... They wake up ready to go. {Can you tell Abbey is NOT a morning person!}
They race around the house looking for eggs. Then Will made his usually Sunday morning breakfast of pancakes.
After church we finally had time to color some eggs... Miss Em helped me mix all the colors and boil the eggs.
But they all got into the action of coloring the eggs.
They used their American Girl catalog to get some ideas of different techniques to use. They used stickers, rubber bands and sponges to make each egg a little different.
I hope you and your were all able to celebrate our risen Saviour and take some time to REST over this recent holiday. We are so blessed. Happy Easter!

Sweet picture of the girls. I hope that they never get to old to dye eggs and be excited about a new easter outfit. I love these things to this day. We had an 84 yr old kying eggs with the 2 yr olds. GREAT TIMES. xoxo, A.Ci
